It's Over Isn't It | Chapter 5: MemoriesPearl let her hat fall into her hand. She gripped it tightly, the image of Rose trapped in her mind. Once, her Rose. She closed her eyes, the memories swirling through her mind.
“It's over isn't it…”
The images of the war flashed before her. Running through the battlefield, Pearl was glancing around frantically for her. Every glance, she saw gems getting poofed, some getting shattered even. Gem shards lay among the battlefield, fire sprouting around as fiery projectiles were hurled from afar.
She stopped. She saw her, Rose, standing tall with her sword and shield in hand. She noticed how she gritted her teeth, the pure determination in her eyes. She was fighting with all her might.
Before her stood a massive Jasper gem. The Jasper gro
It's Over Isn't It? | Chapter 4: Loss“Over her… Who she’d choose…”
Pearl sang as she stepped over to the balcony. She leaned against the pane of the window and stared out at the city, a pained expression on her face. The memories wouldn’t stop.
Pearl had to endure it once again. Rose’s ramblings on Greg were now a common thing. She would come back to the temple, all giggly as usual, sometimes with a gift, and would sit with Pearl (who would always come to her, she missed her ever so dearly), and tell about what she and Greg did that day.
They were both sitting near the ocean, the waves barely touching them. The sun was now beginning to set, dipping the whole beach in a calm orange glow. Pearl stared at her eyes, her confidence now beginning to dwindle. All she ever did now was talk about him.
It’s been almost a year now and Rose still hasn’t given up on Greg. Pearl internally
It's Over Isn't It? | Chapter 3: Gem And HumanPearl slowly walked outside. She clutched the small flower tightly.
“I was fine… When you came…”
She leaped towards the balcony and twirled elegantly, unaware that Steven was watching her.
It was the day that they met, Pearl and Greg. It was a chilly night and Amethyst has just flown back to Pearl. She was starting talk to her about a human who followed her, asking about Rose.
“Look! There he is!”
Pearl glanced over the small purple owl on her arm at a small, long brown haired human standing at the entrance to the temple.
“Yoo.” He said, awkwardly raising his hand in greeting.
The owl launched herself of of Pearl’s arm, giggling. Pearl hesitated as her face was almost slapped by one of her wings and reach to her. But it was too late. “Amethyst! Wait!”
The purple owl transformed back into her real self and landed right in front of the human.
It's Over Isn't It? | Chapter 2: Her RoseShe glanced at the vase of roses.
“I was fine… with the men… who would come into her life now and again.”
Pearl gently picked up a rose from the flower vase and slipped on her top hat. She stared at it, the memories now beginning to unfold.
Pearl stared from afar behind a rock, watching them. She recognized Rose, it was fairly easy to recognize her. Her pink curly hair and her light pink dress stood out among these humans. Next to her stood a bulky male human. Tall, spiked up hair, and a sleeveless shirt and jeans really fascinated Rose. He was flexing for her which made her fascinated even more.
“Interested in heading to my place?” The man asked her, a twinkle in his eyes. A twinkle of lust.
Rose’s eyes sparkled like stars. “What place is this?”
“Follow me baby. I’ll show you where... “ The man said and wrapped his arm ar
It's Over Isn't It? | Chapter 1: Some Alone TimePearl stepped into the room, staring at Greg and his son, Steven, laying down in the big expensive bed. She ever so carefully went up close to them, her footsteps were light even though she had on tap dancing shoes. She now stood at the side of the bed towards the open window, still staring at the two of them. The soft snoring of the father and son made her smile.
But something was hurting her ever since she was forced to go on this trip. She had to come to terms with this, she had to accept it. She had to just somehow deal with it. She had to accept that Rose, the one that she loved ever so dearly, wasn't coming back. Steven was Rose now.
Pearl’s heart ached. Steven just reminded her so much of Rose! His smile, his starry eyes, his looks, and even some of the things he says reminds her of Rose. Steven was brought into this world by Rose as a promise to her husband, Greg. She gave up her physical form and now Steven has her gem. He’s learning his new abilities everyday and
